ORGANIZING TEAM

Who we are

We are a group of people who have fallen in love with Kundalini Yoga, inspired by this beautiful and uniquely rich technology of diverse tools and practices.

We are a group of people who have felt the power of this practice in their own transformations, and who have united with its vibration and message along their life paths. Out of this beautiful love and gratitude for what it has awakened and cleansed within us, and for what it has shown us, we felt a calling — a desire to share its potential with others. From this, in each of our hearts, was born the beautiful spark of the festival — an opportunity to meet another human being in a shared experience of Heart vibration and awakening Consciousness.

Our intention is to create a safe space for this meeting and experience of Kundalini Yoga — a sacred space for unity and community building, for creating sangat, for awakening the path of dharma, for self-discovery and relationship-building, and for entering a pure space of deep meditation and awakening the voice of the subtle teacher within us.

Our festival is unique because one of its most important elements is the morning 2.5-hour Sadhana practice, which works powerfully within us each day in a group field and brings long-term effects to each individual. Sadhana begins at 5:00 a.m., because this is the time when we can most deeply taste the divine nectar — the so-called amrita — as it is the best time for dedicated meditation, when the mind is in its highest state of focus and stillness. Our festival is also unique because we create it together, based on the principle of seva — supporting one another through voluntary service.

At our festival, we primarily experience practices from the Kundalini Yoga tradition — various sets of breathwork and movement exercises called kriyas, which awaken the flow of energy and consciousness, as well as mantras in Gurmukhi from the Sikh tradition. We also experience the regenerative vibrations of gongs and singing bowls. All meals at our festival are shared from one kitchen to strengthen the sense of community. The food is clean, fresh, sattvic, vegan-vegetarian. Our festival is free from intoxicating substances.

Our festival is unique because it is built upon the structure of the Kundalini Yoga system as transmitted by Yogi Bhajan — a very powerful technology. We have completed teacher trainings in the spirit of KRI (Kundalini Research Institute in the USA) and recognize the strength of this transmission, while also acknowledging and respecting that new and different Kundalini Yoga teacher trainings are currently emerging. We are aware of and respect the fact that Yogi Bhajan has been rejected by many practitioners of this method due to his low-vibrational behaviors, which are also not in alignment with us. At the same time, we feel gratitude for the fact that he brought this practice to humanity. Our intention is to create a festival that also allows space for conversations about this controversial topic, as well as any other subjects that participants carry within themselves.

Each of us walks our own path, each of us is different. It is a beautiful gift to live and experience the diversity of existence and to experience unity within this rich mosaic. We warmly invite you to the festival — everyone who feels a calling in their heart, whether you are an advanced practitioner or have never tried it before.

We also invite all Kundalini Yoga teachers to co-create this event, regardless of which training you have completed.

We welcome families with children, for whom we will also prepare a series of workshops. We invite anyone who wishes to immerse themselves in meditation, as well as anyone seeking encounters in a gentle and mindful presence.

See you soon, Sat Nam 🙂
